Upon first dialoging with Ericka Broaddus Johnson you can describe her as funny, intelligent, sassy and very outspoken. But if you ask Ericka what she thinks her most important qualities are she'll quickly respond "wife, mother, and most importantly child of God."

 

"Accolades, titles, and degrees are great but being able to reach and connect with people by sharing my own experiences is precious. Some of these experiences cost me a lot of sweat and tears; however it is truly an honor when I have had people tell me that my words meant something to them. I have found that some of my pain has provided clarity for others and has ultimately helped me grow. God has granted me beauty for some of my ashes."

 

Ericka is a native of Richmond, Virginia and graduated with a BBA from James Madison University and a MA from Liberty University. She is one of six children, with three brothers and two sisters. She has worked in corporate America for several years in the banking, finance and securities industries and is a full time REALTOR. Some of her interests include travelling, spending time with family, crafting, listening to music, and motivational speaking. Ericka has a very full life but always finds a way to balance her roles as a wife, mother, and community leader. Ericka currently resides with her family in Quinton, Virginia.
